Parliamentary events

The SGM regularly runs parliamentary events in the UK and Ireland. Leading microbiologists are invited to give short presentations about developments in their field of research. These talks highlight the issues that need to be addressed by government and deliver the key facts that must be understood. Politicians are encouraged to participate in debate and discussion with scientists and engage with exhibiting organizations about the work that they do.
